About Marie the Bee...

Marie Kare grew up in the Texas Panhandle, but moved away to California for college and just sort of stayed. Marie is an avid reader, gamer, crafter, dog owner, small-business jerk, dabbler in all manner of nonsense and all-around busy bee. Once she released an EP. Once she wrote about video games for a magazine. Once she owned a store. Once she made up a web business and people were nice and hugged. One time she tried to write about herself and ran out of interesting things to say. Despite the name, Marie is not actually a bee, but a tiger -- a subtle difference, but an important one.
